I have never blogged before so all this is new to me. I am taking the 23 things course to become more familiar with whatever is out there. igoogle page in Thing 1 week 1 went fairly smoothly, Am now working on Week 2, Thing 2. Is there a way to drag a gadget you have placed on your home page to a tab? Does not seem like you can click or drag. I am wanting to find the blog page where I saw Iffats name and Pat's name. Let you know when I do.
Your blog's looking great!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which blog page you were referring to... But regarding your question about iGoogle: yes, you can drag gadgets to different tabs. Click and drag it over top of the tab you'd like it in. The tab will kind of turn white or look highlighted.
Okay, the click and drag works fine now. I've found the blog page I was looking for, turns out it was the "23things"blog page. And I now know that I have to "comment as: Google account". Bring on thing 3!lol
ReplyDeleteWeek 3, Things 4 & 5 RSS Feeds and Google Reader. RSS stand for Real Simple Syndication-who knew? I am not even sure how to access my own blog. The only way I know how is to go to the 123Things page and hit Plant Lady, maybe that ~is~ the only way I don't know! I know I need to add some tags, sorry--labels, I can't remember how to do that, crap this is too much like work.
ReplyDeleteJust noticed your comment here. I'm not sure if you were trying to create a new post. If so, you need to log in to Blogger. (Go to www.blogger.com and log in with your Google account. So you don't actually have to start from the 23 Things blog.) Then you will see your Dashboard, and you can click on the New Post button. When you create a new post, you'll be able to add new labels. Just let me know if you need any help.
